It is said that long ago in the kingdom of Daha (now the island of Bali) there lived a Brahmin named Sidi Mantra. He is someone who is famous for his magic mandrauna. Sanghyang Widya or Batara Guru rewarded him with property and a beautiful wife. After years of living together, they finally got a child who they named Manik Angkeran.
